GEBERIT Mepla pipe system. The
universal hot and cold water distribution pipe system for use in Commercial or
Marine plumbing applications.
Used in Europe for over 13 years, Geberit Mepla combines all
the advantages of metal and plastic pipes in one complete system. The triple layer pipe consists of an inner layer of polyethylene that
eliminates residue buildup, a middle layer of welded aluminum that provides
flexibility with rigidity, and a protective outer layer of HDPE.
This unique pipe system considerably reduces installation time when compared
to copper. Pipe flexibility and fast and efficient pipe connection means less
time on site and reduces labor costs.
The unique crimping process moulds the pipe around the fitting, creating a
strong and secure connection. Performing the compression takes only 4 seconds.
This durable,
long-lasting, universal system offers unsurpassed simplicity and convenience. It
requires no torching, offers installation flexibility, the highest quality and
significant time savings. Designed for hot and cold water use, Mepla is
available in 7 sizes ranging from 1/2" to 2" in diameter for virtually any supply
system need.
Mepla pipes
are shipped in 5 meter lengths (16') The three smallest diameter also come
in 50 meter (164') rolls.
